Full-stack Developer - Flux

Flux is a technology-driven company based in Amsterdam (IJburg). We build SaaS solutions for the commercial real estate sector. Our platform supports real estate valuers in their daily work — streamlining valuation workflows, improving data exchange, and connecting valuers with banks and tax authorities.

We are looking for an experienced developer with strong frontend knowledge who enjoys building well-crafted systems, cares about quality, and combines a strong grasp of the fundamentals behind the technologies they use with a continuous drive to explore and apply new technologies in practice.

Main tasks & responsibilities

• As a developer, you will take ownership of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of our SaaS services — from design and development to deployment and operations.

• We are a small, international team of full-stack developers with different strengths across backend, frontend, and DevOps. We follow an agile way of working (Scrum) and collaborate pragmatically across those areas. 

• You will report directly to the CTO, reflecting our relatively flat structure and focus on ownership and results.

• Our platform consists of several standalone legacy systems that are still critical to the business today. At the same time, we actively evolve this landscape by incrementally migrating towards a new architecture, using well-established migration patterns rather than big-bang rewrites.

• Alongside this, we are investing in how we structure and use data across the platform — improving consistency, models, and integrations, and creating a stronger foundation for future capabilities. This also opens up opportunities to apply AI in a meaningful way, both in the product and in how we build it.

We’re looking for a developer who..

• currently already living and working in The Netherlands (we can only support on extension of existing visa sponsorship, not on relocation)

• has a structured and thoughtful way of working

• communicates clearly and effectively

• has at least a C1 level of English; Dutch is a plus, as it is the primary language of our clients

• enjoys going deeper into technology and understanding how things work

• naturally asks “why” and thinks through technical and architectural decisions

• is interested in software architecture and long-term solution design

• prefers a hands-on engineering role (not focused on team leadership)

• enjoys working across the full stack and taking responsibility for what they build and maintain

We value strong expertise in React and other technologies within our stack.

• Frontend: MUI with theme customization, Strong HTML/CSS skills with focus on accessibility

• .NET (as backend technology)

• AWS (or equivalent experience with cloud platforms and/or on-premise infrastructure)

• SQL Server, SSRS (or relevant database experience)
